Report Writing for Proactive Policing (FLORIDA) – this course is hosted by the Daytona Beach Police Dept, 129 Valor Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114, Tuesday, October 13, 2020, from 0830-1700hrs: This is a one-day patrol-based proactive report writing course focused on providing students with a strategic look at how to document and successfully prosecute their proactive encounters.  It includes documenting the roadside interview, reasonable suspicion, probable cause, case law surrounding proactive policing, and building a successful case for prosecution.   This class will provide numerous templates to the student and use real case studies, video, and documentation to thoroughly explain each topic of discussion.
