Report Writing for Proactive Policing (FLORIDA) – this course is hosted by the Daytona Beach Police Dept, 129 Valor Blvd, Daytona Beach, FL 32114, Tuesday, October 13, 2020, from 0830-1700hrs: This is a one-day patrol-based proactive report writing course focused on providing students with a strategic look at how to document and successfully prosecute their proactive encounters.  It includes documenting the roadside interview, reasonable suspicion, probable cause, case law surrounding proactive policing, and building a successful case for prosecution.   This class will provide numerous templates to the student and use real case studies, video, and documentation to thoroughly explain each topic of discussion. Child Sexual Exploitation Investigations (TEXAS): 2-day course hosted by the Denton Public Safety Training Center, Denton, Texas 76205; Tuesday and Wednesday, January 19-20, 2021 from 0830-1700hrs: This revealing and inspiring two-day course focuses on child sexual exploitation investigations and is aimed at patrol officers and investigators who initially respond to and/or investigate sexual crimes against children. Interview and Interrogation (FLORIDA) – CJSTC course – 40 hours – at Santa Fe College Institute of Public Safety, Gainesville, FL; January 25-29, 2021. This course is based on the CJSTC curriculum and is a salary incentive course in the State of Florida.  This course is the bread-and-butter of Advanced Police Concepts. The class will start with the beginner in mind, however, days four and five will be our Advanced Interview and Interrogation curriculum. Please register with the academy.
